Magic Monday + Giveaway Winner Announced!

Magic Monday’s are BACK!!  Here are a few of my favorite things from the interwebs over the last week. Enjoy!

Fabulously luxurious hand-dyed silk scarves from Laura Eliason Designs

Why you Should Savor the Waiting – the fabulous Mastin Kipp never fails to disappoint. “And it was in that moment I started to understand that I had a spiritual “process” that I had to go through. I was couch surfing not because I was a loser, but because I had decided to dedicate my life to something greater than myself and to fully achieve that goal I would have to be transformed as well.” Whether it’s a relationship, career, or anything else, savor the moment. Appreciate the lessons that you learn through all the challenges you face. Chasing your dreams isn’t easy but the pay off is so, so worth it!

I admit, I am a fashion blog junkie! Here is my newest favorite, Cheyenne meets Chanel.

The Vegetable Centric Kitchen is full of easy pant-based recipes that are both delicious and great for weight loss!

Electric Feather Co.! Philissa is a local Austin designer with a killer sense of style. Her feathers are like the cherry on top of a perfect outfit! Check out her amazing designs online – the feather swangers are my favorite!

Feeling sad, stressed, or overwhelmed right now? My simple advice – take a bath! “There must be quite a few things that a hot bath won’t cure, but I don’t know many of them.” -Sylvia Plath.  Amen, sista!

I just found Lauren Nicole one of the founders of The Good Women Project and all I can say is WOW. She’s a REAL woman talking openly and honestly about REAL issues. Issues that don’t often get talked about…the dark side of relationships, sexuality, self doubt, hard life lessons, chasing your dreams, pornography, depression and everything in between. I was especially struck by this article, I was a Prostitute: The Truth About Sex. Note that she is a Christian and that is a common theme in her writing, however, what she has to say goes far beyond religion. I think women of any faith/background will appreciate and relate to her stories.

Gabrielle Bernstien is one of my favorite authors and inspirational speakers. She is offering some very special gifts to anyone who purchases her latest book Spirit Junkie. I love Gabby; even if you don’t buy the book be sure to check out her website for LOADS of free inspiration and insight!
