 Why go organic?

How to make your own ghee – “Ghee is butter that has had all the water and milk solids removed. It is somewhat different from clarified butter in that the process of making ghee involves toasting the milk solids resulting in a nutty, rich flavor. Unlike butter, ghee has a long shelf life and can be used for high temperature cooking. It is also not as difficult to make as you might think.”

Simple ways to start your day with greens:

  1. The classic green smoothie.
  2. Prep and scramble –

If you prepare a large batch of your favorite veggies at the beginning of the week, you can easily make egg scrambles on weekday mornings.

  3. Two words: avocado toast.

9 Things Your Relationships Need From You – This applies to all relationships, not just romantic ones! “Relationships don’t create joy, they reflect it.  Joy comes from within.  Relationships are simply mirrors of the combined joy that two people have as individuals.  What you see in the mirror is what you see in your relationships.  Your disappointment in others perfectly reflects your disappointment in yourself.  Your acceptance of others perfectly reflects your acceptance of yourself.  Thus, the first step to having healthy relationship with anyone else is to have a healthy relationship with yourself.”

The Best Way To Ignite Passion in Your Relationship – Again, this one applies to all relationships in your life! “your relationship can’t feel passionately fulfilling 100% of the time. The best way to keep passion flowing in your life is to have several things that you feel passionate about. It’s not about prioritizing something above your relationship or vice versa; it’s about having multiple priorities and moving gracefully between them.”

I am interested in a vegetarian diet that yields weight loss. I have always been athletic but am presently recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Looking for a healthy healing “diet” that will keep my weight down. Recovery 6months at least.
