How True Free-Range Chicken Eggs are Produced

I’m an egg lover but I only eat the BEST eggs. There is a lot of confusion and controversy on which eggs are best; all natural, free-range, free-roaming, organic, hormone free… What do these labels actually mean and which is best??

Here is a great video that explains what these terms mean and which eggs yield the most nutrition.

For more information you can read the entire article here. I hope this gives you some insight and helps you find the most nutritious and delicious eggs for you and your family!

Have a lovely weekend!! xo

Really appreciate the explanation on free-range vs. grass fed. I will be more a more aware consumer. I want happy eggs from happy chickens. We need to be more humane to our animals that produce our food!

I don’t know if you are into animal rights at all, but if you have netflix, you should watch Morgan Spurlock’s ’30 Days’ series on ‘Animal Rights’ – the most uplifting thing I’ve seen in a while!

Thank you for sharing this. I just did my research and found where I can buy humanely raised eggs locally and will go out of my way to do so from now on. I especially appreciate the information with a limited amount of horrible photos – so often seeing such awful images while researching food alternatives puts me off from searching which it shouldn’t! Great clip.
