Mint Julep

Happy Sunday darlings! Today is Day 7 of the juice feast and it’s been a great experience so far. Some days are of course easier than others but overall it’s been an incredibly enjoyable and peaceful experience. One thing that keeps me going is coming up with fun new juice recipes to share with all of you!

This juice is really lovely with sweet notes of pear and a hint of mint!

It’s a very mild tasting juice and a great way to get your greens in. Especially for kids or picky eaters; they will have no idea they are drinking greens!

You’ll need:

  • 3 pears
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 small bunch of mint

Run all ingredients through your juicer and Enjoy!!

Remember that if you don’t have a juicer you can make juice without a juicer too! I also found out the the movie Sick, Fat, and Nearly Dead is FREE on Hulu!! Check it out!

    OMG! This juice was amazing! So light, delicious and refreshing. It’ s going to be a regular juice from now on. Wow! Thanks, Linda. And my dogs will love the pulp in their dinner bowl tonight. 🙂

    I am on day 5 of my first ever juice fast. Is it necessary to take something to make your bowels move while you are drinking just juice ?

      Moving the bowels will help with detox symptoms. I like Oxypowder (www.oxypowder.com) You could also do enemas or colonics. You don’t have to do a colon cleanse but it can be very beneficial!!

    Looks so good!!! I am on day two of a juice fast so I will have to try this. Wish me luck!!! I hope to make it to day 30. I developed Gall Stones a year ago and had a few attacks. Doctors wanted to take out my Gallbladder but I didn’t want a surgery so I gave up eating meat and dairy and I really try to stay away from sugar. Since changing my diet, I have no problems. I hope to keep it that way. Getting Gallstones has been a blessing on my life. It is forever changed.

      Hi Pari, you can juice feast anywhere from 1-90 days, it just depends on where you’re at. If it’s your first time I would start with 3 days as a goal, you can always keep going if you want but 3 days is a great starting point! Just an FYI, I’ve got a downloadable ebooks all about juice feasting with step by step instructions and tons of recipes that will be coming out very soon!!     Hi Linda, I love your site!! I’ve been making your juices in my blender and straining them with a seeve (not all, i don’t mind the pulp!). I was wondering if you think it would be okay to use frozen spinach or should I stick to fresh?
