Easy Juice Recipe

Friday, March 1st, 2013

Super Easy fresh squeezed juice recipe that everyone will love! It's super nutritious and delicious so it's a great way to sneak extra nutrients in with the kiddos!

What’s the easiest juice recipe? The one where you just throw everything you’ve got into the juicer and enjoy!! Lol, this recipe turned out to be pretty yummy so I’ll share it with you!

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 bunch of swiss chard
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 big handful parsley
  • 2 apples
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 blood orange
  • 2 tangerines
  • 2 lemons

Simply run all ingredients through a juicer (Breville is my favorite brand) and enjoy! This recipe made almost 64 oz.

Sounds like most of you have had a VERY SUCCESSFUL juice feast!! My email has been blowing up with wonderful stories and it sounds like a lot of you are excited about skin brushing!!  If you’re done with the juice feast, great job and if you’re still going, keep it up!! I’ve decided to be done today so I’ll start transitioning into smoothies and yummy blended soups! Today is going to be dedicated to a little pampering, cause I deserve it and you do too! You have my permission to get your hair & nails done, get a massage, or take a nap if you need one! Happy Friday!

Hi Linda! This sounds so refreshing! I am looking for a smoothie/juice that will rehydrate , plump, rejuvenate, make my eyes sparkle , help my skin, face hair after this dry, cold winter! Planning on a event , and want to look fabulous and feel fab! Have any ideas? Thanks so much! 🙂

Well done Linda and everyone else! I did a 4 day juicing not because I couldn’t go longer but because juicing takes time and for someone who works more than 8hours a day, it’s quite exhausting!
But I’ll do some more days in summer when we have more yummy fruits!!
My favourite juice was carrots, oranges, grapefruits and lemons….really nice!

    Hi Linda,
How many oz of juice do you drink a day? For example, the recipe above is for one juice or is it divided throughout the day? Also, do you workout when you’re juicing? I want to start detoxing my body because my eczema flares have been really persistent lately and I have found that when I’ve done juice fasts in the past it helps clear up my eczema. However, I am weight training 4-5 days a week and I am trying to get in shape for an event coming up soon and I don’t want to stop working out at the gym. Will I have enough energy to workout and still juice?

Hi Nancy, excellent questions! Juice Feasting is a major undertaking! You probably want to check out my Juice Feasting ebook for step=by-step instructions. It will tell you how much juice to drink, what kind of juices, recipes, and how to make sure you are cleansing properly (ie. what to do so the eczema doesn’t flare up)! You can work out and still juice but just use your better judgement and don’t push it too hard!! https://lindawagner.net/blog/shop/ebooks/beginners-guide-to-juice-feasting

    Hi Linda,

I just wrapped up day 7. I was really hoping to do 10 days, but the last 2 have been very hard. It’s totally my fault, but yesterday I set myself up for disaster by not preparing enough juice before being gone for the whole day. I think it set a very negative tone, because today I made 2 juices, but didn’t feel like making another when I got home from work. I know I haven’t had enough to drink, not at all yesterday, and not today either, but I just haven’t wanted to go make any more. I’ve been getting down on myself for wanting to call it quits on day 8 tomorrow, when I’ve said out loud to everyone that I was doing 10 days. Even in Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, people are encouraged to do 10 days. Do you have any tips to get me back on track to finish the next few days positively? I started out so strong, and I’d hate to let a few bad days end things on this note…Again, definitely my fault for not planning properly. In spite of the last 2 days I have seen the amazing benefits of doing this, and I’ll definitely be doing it again. I just hope I’m someone who can do it for more than a few days at a time! I applaud everyone who can go 30 or 60 days.

Hey linda….hope your well. I just made this today. Very yummy. One question I have that I don’t recall talking about during our consultation is how quickly we should drink juices. I know it oxidizes quickly….so do we drink it right away or can we sip on it for half hour or something like that? Thanks.
