Alicia Hartzell of www.awakeningtoyourstory.com

Guess what you lucky devils?! I’ve got another FANTASTIC giveaway for you! This time it is a 2 hour one-on-one phone consultation with my dear friend, Alicia Hartzell. Alicia is an absolutely AMAZING life coach. She has helped me time and time again. Whether it’s just a lot of external “noise”, relationship issues, self esteem, emotional eating, stress, you name it, she’s helped me get to the bottom of it in a life changing way. Not just an “I feel better kind of way” but in a “break 100 years of old toxic patterns” kind of way. This is a really, really special giveaway and I encourage all of you to enter. This is a potentially life changing opportunity to work with her one-on-one!!

Here’s a message from Alicia:

“Do you find health and weight loss to be an uphill battle that you just can’t seem to conquer?  Does your experience with food challenge you at every turn?  Alicia Hartzell with Awakening to Your Story believes that these challenges and battles are actually there to help you get where you want to go!

Awakening to Your Story is about shifting your perspective. It’s a process of turning your focus inward. It’s a way of becoming consciously engaged in the story of your life.  This allows you to recognize the circumstances and situations in your everyday life as neutral information.  From there you can use the information as a tool that helps you get where you want to go.

“Many of the people I work with are experiencing & dealing with great contrast in their lives – a division between what their current circumstance is and what they long for it to be. I teach them how to find purpose in that contrast. Once that purpose is identified, you can navigate through the information at hand and fully embody the change that you are looking for.”  Alicia Hartzell

Food and health are vital to how we live our lives.  Food is an everyday necessity. If your circumstance is filled with a struggle against something that is a necessity, Alicia would say that you have some brilliant contrast ready to be utilized.

Your time is now!  Learn how to utilize the contrast in your life so that you can get where it is you want to go and create a more conscious and healthy relationship with food. Every moment that goes by, you are writing your story. Awaken to your story and write the story you were meant to live.”

What others are saying:

Alicia gets straight to the heart of the matter.  If traditional therapy is a marathon, the techniques in Awakening to Your Story offer a sprint into the thinking, patterns, and experiences from the past that prevent you from connecting to your fullest life today.  Both inspirational and practical, Alicia encourages her readers and the people whom she guides to view pain, failure, heartbreak, confusion, fear and other negative experiences as neutral information that can propel you to greater growth and control over your everyday thinking and decisions.  Awakening to your story provides people with the tools you need to respond the life’s challenges from a place of self-care and employ specific techniques to move from inaction to actively living the life they desire.” -Penny, Austin TX

I have worked with Alicia through many different phases of my story over the past four years.  This work constantly initiated profound change in my life.  She has assisted me in healing old trauma and creating a path in front of me that is entirely different from the one I had been on. Instead of living in confusion and beating myself up for my perceived “failures” with no forward movement, Alicia helped me to create a space for myself that was loving, compassionate, and empowered.  As a direct result of the work that I have done with Alicia, I have achieved fulfillment in all areas of my life. I have the tools I need to work through hardship and pain with grace and a minimum amount of struggle.  I am so incredibly thankful to have encountered this amazing individual and to have the gift of her insight and wisdom.” –Tina, Austin TX

I would LOVE to be given this once in a lifetime gift as I have struggled with emotional/binge eating for as long as I can remember. It would be so nice to be heard, affirmed and given advice in this distressing portion of my life!

    Thanks :o)

When I am not feeling well due to being sick and then trying to eat to make myself feel better.

My best friend is at a cross roads in her life. She tried every kind of diet. I really want to help support her to be the best version of herself. I’m seeking information and knowledge for us.

I try to avoid falling into that “comfort food” trap. As something goes up toward my mouth I stop and think, “Is this something I really want or need or am I using food to comfort myself somehow.”

I think everyone falls into emotional eating at some point in their lives – the thing I have to realize is that not everyday is a struggle and I don’t need to self-sooth with food on a daily basis.

“Treats” truly should be treats and enjoyed occasionally!

I’m interested in hearing more about what Alicia has to say and look forward to viewing her website. Thank you Linda, for providing us with this opportunity.

My biggest struggle with emotional eating is my feeling of entitlement “I deserve this”, while blocking out any other more sensible thoughts, such “a bag of chips is not really what I need right now”.

I eat healthy and work out regularly but I still can’t lose weight. I feel discouraged. I’m so ready for a change.

What a great opportunity to reflect on the past, dedicate time for yourself in the present and grow in the future. I would love to partake in this experience!

    Linda,

I don’t really have a binge eating problem, but I can’t get myself motivated to prepare the food I need to be eating. I suffer daily from fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis pain. At this time I’m on a lot of pain medication in order to feel half way normal so that I can do the things I want to do. I’m an artist and have trouble standing for very long. The pain takes away my creativeness and that is all I have in order to make some income. After multiple joint replacements and a total realignment of my spine I still suffer daily. I’m currently on disability and have to live on a very small income. I fight depression and anxiety because I am unable to do what makes me happy. So I spend hours and hours each day reading articles online and watching movies. If you have any help for me I would be the most grateful person in the world. Just talking with someone that might have answers would be a MIRACLE. I’ve been following you for about 8 months now and have tried many of your suggestions. My goal is to find a way to get off of these toxic medications and feel partially normal again. Thank you for considering me in your giveaway. Peace and love from our Lord to you and your team.

When I am overworked, over stressed or am tired – my resolve weakens!

I want to eat for comfort and being a working mama of two, one is 3 years and the other is 4 months, after a long day at work then home to you REAL job as a mama of two after the whole day is said and done I just want to relax with comfort food but in the morning I just feel bad about myself and the whole cycle starts over and over.

My biggest road block is being consistent. I emotionally eat weather is stress, happiness, sadness, and then of course it all just induces guilt. I am really trying to do a full makeover on my life. re-evaluating sources of stress, creating boundaries on relationships with friends and family that do effect me negatively and just trying to get my total emotional, physical and mental health in check. This would be a wonderful tool to use if I were to win this.

Thank you for this awesome give-a-way. I appreciate the advice you give us and the opportunities provided. Like many, I am working towards my own goals and your advice helps.

I purchased and completed your juice fasting from your ebook and now juice fast regularly when my body seems to need it. It has been a huge step towards my progress. Thanks so much!

My biggest roadblock with emotional eating is I shut down and eat bad for a few days. I feel like I cannot recover from it. Then I beat myself up some more.

  16. Justine September 29, 2013 at 6:18 pm #

One of my biggest roadblocks is my own depression. At times I eat so I can feel that pain when I overstuff myself. It’s like punishment. I don’t get pleasure from overeating, but I can’t seem to stop myself when I’m wallowing. 🙁
