Happy Wednesday everyone!! Hard to believe August has almost come to an end and summer is almost over!

The pups finally got their cones off after being neutered and they are so happy to be free to play and run again! They are so much fun, I just love them to bits!


Hank sat with me this morning as I had my usual cold brew coffee with stevia along with my 80 billion probiotic (use code WAG472 to get $5-10 off first purchase).  I’ve been experimenting with making my own cold brew coffee at home. I haven’t perfected the recipe yet but hoping this next batch is the perfect ratio, stay tuned! I’m also taking this time released 5 HTP supplement daily to support mood, sleep, and take advantage of all the other amazing health benefits!

I also started my morning with a little skin brushing session to help with cellulite and toning of the skin. I used to be really good about doing it for a few weeks every couple of months or so but realized today that it’s probably been over 6 months since I’ve done it! Time to get back on it then!

Cotton Candy grapes

Mid morning I snacked on some cotton candy grapes. Have you had these before?!?!? Oh my goodness, they are Heaven on Earth!! They taste just like cotton candy, it’s crazy!! You can read the story all about the farmers who created them and how they did it (no GMO’s involved)!!

scrambled eggs and summer kale salad

I didn’t have much on hand since I just flew back into town late last night. I scrambled 3 eggs, served with hot sauce and picked up a pre-made summer kale salad from Central Market. You can see a similar recipe here.

almonds and green juice

Late afternoon I snacked on some raw almonds and a green juice made from: 4 small green apples (I always get them in bags from Trader Joe’s), 6 carrots, 1 lemon (skin peeled), 1 head romaine lettuce, 6 stalks kale.

Caprese Salad via Linda Wagner

For dinner I had way too much of this yummy caprese salad (recipe here) and a slice of ciabatta bread with this pesto. I had 2 giant servings but I just couldn’t help myself!! The tomatoes are so bright red and ripe now and all the flavors went together so beautifully with the balsamic and fresh basil! This is one of my favorite late summer salads, it’s just too good!!

I also finished off the rest of my afternoon green juice.
