Day 6 of Cleanse America started with this AMAZING Mint Chocolate Chip Shake. This is what I love about raw foods, you can have delicious, decadent recipes like this and still be cleansing!!

I LOVED Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream as a kid and it’s still one of my favorite flavors. This shake tastes exactly like to the real thing!!

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. I use VitaMix. You could also add some baby spinach to make it a more green in color and give it a boost in minerals!

This shake is sooooo good!! If you like Mint Chocolate Chip as much as I do, you will really love this recipe! Kids will love it too!

Later in the day I had some Apple Cinnamon Chia Goodness sent to be by the lovely Kibby (such a doll, thank you babe!). It was SO good! I had never heard of it before but it was absolutely delightful and packed with amazing superfoods! It would be a fantastic replacement for morning cereal or oatmeal. You can order your Chia Goodness from iherb.com!

Later that evening I went to Beets Cafe – a delicious raw food restaurant in Austin. I decided to have the Asian Noodle Salad. It was really, really good! I highly recommend going to Beets if you’re ever in Austin. I promise you won’t be disappointed! You can find a similar raw Asian Noodle recipe here.

Day 6 done, 4 more to go!! Every one is doing an excellent job! We’re almost there!!

You are welcome, love! I was about to make my morning smoothie and saw this recipe and giggled with delight – I have ALL the ingredients. Making this baby as soon as I finish typing this and sending it out to the ether world. Thank you!! I love mint and chocolate/carob together. so light and lovely! Glad you had a wonderful weekend! I planted my 4 blueberry bushes and 1 raspberry bush yesterday in the garden – looking forward to eating out of the garden sometime soon. Sunny and warm again – my kind of weather. Hi there,
I have a question regarding juicing — is it ok to throw a tablespoon of cocoa powder to an almond milk/frozen banana shake? Thanks!
