Linda’s Chocolate Strawberry Superfood Smoothie

By now you guys all know how much I LOVE my superfood smoothies!! They are nutritious, great for weight loss, super tasty, fast & easy to make, and absolutely DELICIOUS!!

Here is my most recent creation, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

You’ll need:

Simply blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. I use a VitaMix which is an amazing, state of the art, professional grade high speed blender. They are the ONLY blender that will give you the creamy consistency that you desire.  I love, love, LOVE my VitaMix and highly recommend investing in one if you are ready to make serious changes to your diet. I have had mine for almost 5 years and use it daily! If you’re not ready to drop that kind of cash, I also like Hamilton Beach which makes some great budget friendly blenders that you can get at your local Walmart or Target.

After blending, I garnished my smoothie with some frozen strawberries, Hemp Seeds, and Cocoa Nibs which add a nice crunch and make it look pretty!! Enjoy!!

Time Saver: When I go to the grocery store I always buy 3-4 bunches of bananas at a time. As they start to get spotty and brown I peel them FIRST, then put them in a plastic bag and into the freezer. This will allow you to have lots of bananas on hand and not have to constantly go to the grocery store!

  1. I LOVE your superfood smoothies! They make me feel like the energizer bunny. The colostrum product has been a nice addition to the smoothies since you mentioned it last.   3. I have been wondering how to get chia seeds into our day. This is a good idea.
    I’m slowly gathering the super foods from iHerb. I think I have everything but the Lucuma for this recipe. 🙂

    Could the almond kefir be used in this recipe? Made some almond kefir – looking forward to trying it in the morning!
