[source]

So you want something to munch on without adding inches to your waistline?? I hear ya, don’t we all?! One of my favorite healthy & filling go-to snacks is Avocado Toast. It is simple, so easy to make and absolutely delicious!! It’s perfectly combined and digests like a dream. Seriously, try it! You’ll wonder how you ever managed before with out it!

Simply smear 1/4 – 1/2 fresh avocado on a piece of toasted Ezekiel bread and sprinkle lightly with sea salt; voila, you’re done!

  1. OK, I just finished eating but my stomach is grumbling over looking at this.

I usually have bread with a nut butter and sliced banana as my snack but this is going to happen tomorrow for sure.

    Thank you.

I’ve been making this snack for years! I usually add some fresh chopped tomato on top; and when I’m feeling bad I butter the toast a bit! De-lish!

I’m from California and avocados are a staple! And I just learned how good sea salt tastes on them! I seriously started slicing them, adding a little salt and cayenne pepper and eating them like that! Now if only I can find some soy free bread to smear them on!

Also I am going through a weight loss battle which I am currently losing at so I’m glad I stumbled upon your blog…I feel really excited to try your recipes! I also have just started leaning towards being a vegetarian since I am allergic to fish and chicken and all other meats just don’t excite me (haha). It’s been about 3 weeks no meat, so it’s nice to see EASY veggie dishes I can get excited about, cuz I do love me some vegetables but after work I’m tired and don’t want to spend another hour making food!

so thanks for this blog…I will keep coming back for more!! (and thanks for the encouragement I was feeling really down about this whole trying to lose 30lbs thing)
